Greetings of Peace,
My team is hopeful of starting an online database that will help people to find places those will help them in choosing and grooming their future in safe hands. I would like to call upon all those reading this post to give their feedback on this topic. My team is preparing an online database that will help you to find a college that will help you to groom your skills and ensure a safe future for you, and I'm hopeful that with your positive feedback we would be able to provide you with all the information about the colleges and Universities in United States Europe and India. What we need is your feedback on following topics:

  • What do you expect from your college?
  • What do you expect from the website when you search for the colleges?
  • Do you wish to go the conventional way or you want to learn only what you like?
This is how we help

Just provide your valuable comments and we will hopefully assist you in this journey.

With greetings of peace and blessings.

R.I.P Steve Jobs.

R.I.P Steve Jobs (1955 - 2011)

Thank you Steve.

The man who gave us the iMac, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad, is dead - Steve Jobs, may his soul rest in peace.

The most amazing is the story of the man who is the icon for the people in love with technology. Started as an entrepreneur with his lab in a garage, ended as the man leading a seventy five billion dollar company, Apple Inc.

His life went through the most unlikely episodes, one cannot imagine the way he emerged as a leader in industry.  I remember what I read in papers, saw on TV, and of course his biographies, this man really had the experience of lifetime. Starting with the success of Apple І and followed by the grand success of Apple II, Steve Jobs proved his mettle, even though Steve Wozniak shares the credit but it was more due to Jobs’s managerial skills that made Apple a brand. The youngest man on the cover of Times magazines was also at one point of time a man who had vowed to abstain from all worldly affairs but in the end it was to be like this. His life took a turn at one point of time, he left Apple after some internal friction, heartbroken but still determined. Started NeXT, acquired Pixar and turned around the Disney management and was back on Apple Inc. After his return to Apple Inc. in 1997, there was no looking back. One after the other the iMac’s, the iPod’s, the MacBook’s, the iPhone’s, and not to forget the ultimate iPad’s, the success story has just began, but for him it ended this October the 5th in Paolo Alto due to Pancreatic cancer that had made him to take a break for some time in 2009 and then finally quit in 2011.

What I learned from this man is perseverance, not to fail in your heart, how to fight your disabilities and win. Even though he was diagnosed with this serious disorder in 2005, he started his glorious journey after 2005. He saw times when, like being given up by his parents, days of poverty, days in search of spiritual happiness, extreme hard work, troubled personal life, as a father and a brother. But in the end what counts is that is an ICON for me and those who dream big and dream to win.
May his soul rest in peace.

Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

My name defines me now.

Peace be on you,

Going places, boarding a train, going through a check-in, applying for a job, joining a club is not as easy as it may seem to be. I'm checked twice before I board the plane, my credentials checked under a microscope before I rent a home or a car, they won't let me join them!!!! Why????
Because I got a name, it says I worship the one who is worthy of worship, it drives the hell out of them because I'm the advocate of peace, the follower of the Blessing on Humanity (may peace be on him and his family). And I am a Muslim, the believer  who believes in the singularity of divinity, the absolute authority of the greatest Allah.
I believe the entire city of Mecca accepted Islam without spilling even a single drop of blood, I believe that the entire history has the glorious chapters of acceptance of this noble way without any coercion, and following the life with extreme piousness without any violence.

What makes them fear me ?
What makes a chill to run through their spine ?

It is their ignorance.
It is their acceptance to each and everything without questioning.
It is their lack of tolerance.
And it is their "Greed".

I wear a skull cap to please my Lord.
I sport the beard to please my Lord and his Messenger.
I pray for my salvation.
I save my soul from "riba(interest)" for my well being.
I fast to purify my soul.
I come to spread the message of peace and glory.
And I don't hesitate to fight with my own soul for I want my soul to be saved on the day when all will be standing, asking for mercy but My Lord grants mercy to those who come to his way and repent.
I don't hesitate to fight for the honor of my brothers and my sisters, and I won't hesitate to die for the honor of the call of Allah through his Messenger (Peace be on him and his family).

So what is my crime? Why is world so intolerable? Why can't they see what is being done to my brothers and sisters in Palestine, Chechnya, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan  Pakistan, Somalia, Yemen and Kashmir.
Yet they see a gunman killed in occupied Palestine and it is answered by killing five of my brothers, mostly infants. They think they are cutting the roots but what awaits them on the day of judgement, they better pray for their souls.

Eid, the festival of of austerity.

Asalam u Alikum,
Eid mubarak to all my brothers in Islam.
Today ends the moth of fasting, the month of redemption, the month of prayers, the month of peace, the month of charity and I hope that whatever we prayed, whatever we donated and will donate gets accepted by the most gracious of, the bounteous of all, Allah (subhanawatallah).
The prayers for the Eid are wajib and compulsorily to be offered in congregation. the way of Eid salah is a bit different as it is accompanied with 14 taqbeeers. The payment of "sadqah fitr" is compulsory and has been calculated to be Rs.29.
Make sure to pay the sadqah and offer the Eid prayers and refrain from the practices that were prohibited by Islam.

Steve Jobs' Letter To Apple-Is this the end of an era?

The following is the letter sent by Mr. Steve Jobs to the Apple Board of Directors of Apple Inc.

Steve Jobs and the iPad 2.

To the Apple Board of Directors and the Apple Community:

I have always said if there ever came a day when I could no longer meet my duties and expectations as Apple’s CEO, I would be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, that day has come.
I hereby resign as CEO of Apple. I would like to serve, if the Board sees fit, as Chairman of the Board, director and Apple employee.
As far as my successor goes, I strongly recommend that we execute our succession plan and name Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.

I believe Apple’s brightest and most innovative days are ahead of it. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.
I have made some of the best friends of my life at Apple, and I thank you all for the many years of being able to work alongside you.

Steve.

This is the man under whom Apple came up with the most coveted toys of our time. The iPad's 1 and 2, the four generations of the iPhone, MacBook Air, iMac's and not to forget the indispensable iPods. The man leaves now.Wishing him a good luck.Peace be on all.

Discrimination, ego or human nature.

Asalam u Alikum,
I started to ponder over the meaning only after our teacher explained it as "I'm superior and others inferior".
Thinking about it, many things came to my mind, is it always with ego or is there some other thing associated with it?
When we grow our parents make a line around us, always warning us no to cross the limits and we readily accept the orders, the limits being about religion, class, caste, or any other social grouping. It is best for us, we think as our parents are our best well-wishers. As we grow there comes a time we need to look over the line and we try to mix up but being careful enough not to cross the line. But as it seems it is inevitable to remain in the circle drawn by our parents, in one way or the other we come across the lines and we forget the borders, but when it comes to our future we suddenly try to assure our safety by remaking the line long forgotten by us. There again we start the segregation of the we people we should meet and those from whom we have to maintain the distance.
Now where comes the question of "ego" in between, it is just something going in our head, it is just a feeling but it is corrosive. It never affects the society but it causes troubles though. It creates social evils but never makes way for what we call as "discrimination".
Nepotism, Apartheid, Religious segregation, Caste Segregation and Gender discrimination are just the apparent effects of the word and a phenomenon called "discrimination".

  • It is the dark side of human soul that invokes this evil. It is neither education nor the social efforts that can stop it, it was there, is there, and will be there.
  • Peace.
  •                                                                                                                                                            Abdul.

a new life- college

And there I start a new life, my tryst with the new people, on a new mission,  a new path.
Its been a fortnight since I've left my home, among new faces I'm trying to build trust and friendship, a bond that will be there for times I've no idea of. Man has a title bestowed to him by God himself, "Ashraful makhluqaat" or the best of creations. This is quite evident from the fact that even if we enter a new territory, nigh seen by our fathers, still we adapt to the life, the way and give way to change that is necessary for the survival. Even though Darwin might have explained the theory of evolution which by many standards seems quite vague, but look at the beauty of human nature, how do we evolve our manners, our ways to accommodate the people surrounding us making a way for a perfect ecosystem, God intends for us.
May peace be on all.
                                                                                                                                   Abdul.
